(6-0) An undefeated week brings the Miami Heat to the top of the Rankings and the league's best record. Still no super star but they don't need one. |
34-13 |
(7-0) No Gilbert Arenas? No problem. The Bobcats apparently have the depth to survive the injury to Arenas. Question is, can they keep this up for another month?
35-13 |
(6-1) Their only loss came to the Thunder as they topped teams such as the Hornets, the Raptors, and the Atlanta Hawks. Lately, they've been healthy, we'll see how long that lasts with the injury bug lurking around. |
36-12 |
(3-3) Rough week for the Raps as they dropped both of their big games against the Nets and Bulls (as well as a hot Milwaukee team). Tincan, ZBo, and Peja are gonna have to play better if they want to hold onto the Atlantic division (or play better defense). |
36-12 |
(3-4) The Bulls have been struggling lately. Their big trio in Nash, Iverson, and Bynum are doing their parts, but it'd be nice to have some of the other players on the team play a little defense. Expect the Bulls to recuperate and rise back up. |

(5-1) A great week for the Timberwolves. Seems like everything is working in their favor now except for the game they needed most against Utah, who are right behind them, but we'll see how things go. |
30-18 |
(5-2) The Jazz bounced played every team in their division as they won against the Wolves and Thunder but dropped games against both new look teams in Denver and Portland. The NW keeps getting tougher. |
29-16 |
(4-3) The best team in the West lost to the worst team in the league...who were without their best player Eric Gordon. They lost by 14 points too...Enough said.
29-16 |
(3-4) Well, they wont have David West for the rest of the season but the Grizzlies (who had the best team on paper outside of the Hornets in the SW) are now rebuilding, so the division is pretty much locked up. |
28-20 |
(5-2) Who would of thought that this team would finally crack the top 10 in the rankings with Brandon Roy done for the season? I didn't, but I expect the Warriors to come back down to earth pretty soon. |
25-22 |
(3-5) Looks like Tomas has been slacking just a tad bit. They still have the 6th seed locked up pretty good right now but let's see if Tomas can get the Hawks to a higher seeding (told you this team would make the post season Sucher) |
25-22 |
(3-3) They just got Chauncey Billups and Lamar Odom to go along with Dirk, Deng, Andy V, and Big Ben...They look really good on paper (so did Memphis) but the inexperience of their GM will likely cost this team. Imagine what Tomas could do with a team like this... |
21-24 |
(3-3) Detroit is currently the 9th seed in the East right now but I expect this team to make it to the post season. Trev has too much pride to miss the post season 2 years in a row. I expect Detroit to make a strong come back. |
24-20 |
(3-2) The Lakers have been pretty quite lately, but the fact is that they're 6th right now in the West. They just picked up Mike Bibby now (which isn't good for other teams looking to make a run) but Laker fans gotta love that.
25-22 |
(3-2) The Thunder just acquired Luis Scola in a trade for doo doo. Uhm...Scola could be their missing piece that they needed. Wade has also been playing pretty studely too, almost like during the Sacramento days... |
22-24 |
(2-5) This New York teams needs some scoring. Marvin Williams is leading the team in that department with a very streaky Travis Outlaw and Al Jefferson (who play great on the other end of the court). New York needs to get some help, and quick!
22-26 |
(2-5) Deron, LaMarcus, Caron, Biedrins, and Maggette? Looks good to me but apparently isn't clicking. Now while it's good to sit on some teams, other teams need changes, and this is one of them. Let's see if Sachs keeps his faith in the team or makes a move. |
24-27 |
(6-2) The Bucks have been hot lately, they don't want to miss the post season this year and they're making a strong push for it. Their losses came from Portland and Minny but won against Atlanta twice and Toronto.
20-26 |
(5-1) Portland has been busy lately with trades. We saw the exit of Wally Szczerbiak and Ricky Davis for Rasheed Wallace (SHEEEEED) but quickly saw Wallace and *sniff* Jerryd Bayless leave for Michael Redd and Rodney Carney. They just beat Utah too! |
21-27 |
(3-4) I'm still at a loss as to why Houston isn't playing better. If the Warriors are winning without Brandon Roy...Why can't Houston win WITH Kevin Garnett and Vince Carter? Maybe one of them should find a new home...? |
22-24 |
(2-4) I honestly think that it's either Baron Davis or Eddy Curry holding this team back. I'd look to trade one of them to free up more shots for Martin and Pierce. Baron isn't performing like he should be while Curry is playing really well (could easily be traded). |
19-27 |
(3-3) Despite this team having a .500 week, they rise up because the teams below them sucked. At least they have 2 of the top 5 rookies to win rookie of the year in Rose and Lopez. Rebuilding through the draft is always good, look at Portland in the NBA! |
12-36 |
(3-4) They traded their leading scorer in Redd for Wallace (13.6 expire) and rookie guard Jerryd Bayless. Bayless has been noted as their franchise PG. While in Portland, he was playing PG, SG, and SF off the bench. Look for Bayless to get better and better. |
16-30 |
(1-5) Another crap year for the Spurs but you can assure that it'll be another fantastic off season for them as well. They have LeBron James to build around (if he isn't traded before the deadline) with some good youth...Let's wait and see. |
17-28 |
(0-6) The only team in the league to loss all the games they played since the last rankings. They just went into rebuilding mode, so let's see what happens. To be fair, they lost Harrington for most of those games too. |
10-35 |
(3-4) This team has won 3 games in a row?! WHAT?! Yeah, it's true, three games in a row. You can thank Mo Williams, who is finally playing like he should be, but they just traded Scola for doo doo. It was fun while it lasted. |
15-32 |
(2-6) The team is going nowhere fast. If I were them, I'd be trying to get at least one of the top picks from the Timberwolves or something...A word of advice...Start David Harrison! |
18-30 |
(2-6) Not really sure what else I should say about this team...They did beat the New Orleans Hornets and the New York Knicks, so that's good I suppose. Kevin is a good GM, wait for the off season. |
16-29 |
(2-2) Anyone else think Ramon Sessions would be playing this good so quickly? I gotta say though, that I'm a little disappointed in the way Chandler has been playing, thought he'd be doing better. |
5-42 |
(1-7) THEY BEAT THE SUNS!!! THEY BEAT THE SUNS!!! HOLY CRAP THEY BEAT THE SUNS!!!! THEY.....BEAT.....THE SUNS!!! (and lost to the Dakota Wizards too...) |
